Agios Stefanos NW
Description
Agios Stefanos (West) (Greek: Άγιος Στέφανος) was originally a fishing village located on the north west coast of Corfu island. It has a safe harbor, where the four Diapontia Islands can be seen. Fishing is still a very important part of the local economy. Plenty of taverns and restaurants and live music in some bars. Free car park. The beach at Agios Stefanos (West) is a long sandy beach, great for families or couples, with a variety of water sports available. Naturist section at the far end so families better to stay where the sun loungers are. Shallow water, Ideal for all bathers including young children and not very confident swimmers. On windy days there are good waves. The landscape near the mountains is very beautiful and worth a visit.
